Reconnect with Nature at Chengdu’s Breathtaking Huan Huaxi Park

Forming the lush core at the heart of the Huaxi Scenic Area, breathtaking Huan Huaxi Park is a natural hideaway complete with stunning scenery, natural mountains and sleepy riverbeds. Situated south of Guizhou’s Guiyang City this sprawling “Back Garden of Guiyang City” is spread out over an impressive 136 acres with nearly 49 acres of the land covered by the Jin Jiang.

The brainchild of a local resident of the Qing dynasty who installed pavilions, water islands, towers and planted flowers and other trees on its green enclave the park was rebranded as a public park in the 1930′s. The founding of the People’s Republic of China saw the park further improved to include other facilities for tourists and renamed Huan Huaxi Park whose name denotes a space lined with babbling brooks and flowers abloom.

Surrounded by four natural hills the parkland also features a meandering stream which flows through the park as the hills named Gui, Lin, She and Feng tower overhead on either side.

Ideal for hiking enthusiasts’ guests can leisurely climb the four hills and enjoy the unique viewpoints each mount offers of the park’s captivating surroundings. Atop Lin Hill which is the tallest of the four one finds the most spectacular view of the entire park enclave complemented by the almost orchestral accompaniment of periodically howling Kylins. She Hill and Gui Hill on the other hand feature oddly placed stone and pebble edged roadways and luscious views of the immediate landscape. Feng Hill is perfect for those who wish to get a bird’s eye view of the stone village located nearby complete with the remarkable sight of stone homes and walls crisscrossing stone roads across green fields.

The Huaxi also holds the title as the premier “First Love Stream” in the Chinese Republic due to its pristine waters and idyllic river banks while other highlights at the venue include the One Hundred Steps Bridge also known as Baibu Bridge. A looping overpass with stones embedded in to the water the structure creates the illusion of walking on water during the summer months when the water level is at its highest. The park’s pavilions are also picturesque while the gardens and towers that are scattered across the property also lend the venue an air of peaceful sophistication. Those on the lookout for a Chengdu hotel within close range of the city’s airport will find no better alternative to the elegant rest that is the Millennium Chengdu. NATURE OF AUTISM

Autism is a severe disorder that prevails right from the birth. Seizure disorders, mental illness, mental retardation and gastrointestinal issues are found in people suffering from autism.

They might be normal in looks and appearance but there are certain strange behaviors exhibited that seem to be completely different from typical children. They are either hyper sensitive or hypo sensitive. This sensitivity is exhibited towards light, crowds and sound. Autism is identified in people through the way they communicate to others. In their mode of communication few signs like unusual and delayed speech patterns, flat intonation, high pitched intonation, lack of proper slang, kid?s way of speaking, lack of eye contact and poor verbal skills are found.

Autistic people are usually found covering their ears and they avoid facing areas that are brightly lit. People suffering from autism usually engage in repetitive activities. If a child is diagnosed with autism in early age (five or six) then he has the eligibility for early intervention services. These include home based and school based programs consisting of social, behavioral and skill-building treatments. In these programs the child is made aware of the normal child?s activity and the trainers try to mould the behavior of the autistic kid. In the recent times many adults and teens being prone to high functioning autism are found and given treatments.

Many counseling related programs are conducted to the people having an autistic spouse. Counselors teach the people how to react to crucial situations. This is how autism is identified and treated in humans.
